Once again, numerous key business players and professional event organisers capitalised on the opportunity to network, exchange ideas, discover new industry trends and follow up on business leads at access on 3 and 4 October at Hofburg Vienna. At their creatively designed booths, exhibitors from all Austrian provinces provided a comprehensive overview of the industry. Both international hosted buyers and numerous national trade-show visitors had the opportunity of exploring the wide range of attractive products and services offered by the Austrian congress, convention and event industry.
Just like the economy as a whole, the convention and congress industry is subject to constant change. Therefore, access 2011 was dedicated to change. During presentations given at the access academy, participants discussed how associations and the convention and congress industry in general can prepare for new challenges.
The fact that access was once again certified as a “Green Meeting” by the Austrian eco-label is good news for the environment. This certification is an important contribution to sustainability.
