The access hosted buyer programme is aimed at trade visitors from abroad who have decision-making and/or budgetary responsibility for conferences, conventions, incentive trips/programmes, international congresses, product launches, staff training sessions, special events etc. within their own company, for an agency or for an international association.
Media representatives who work for international trade media in the meetings industry can also apply to participate as a hosted buyer.
All registrations for the access 2012 hosted buyer programme are evaluated according to a set of criteria. Registration is accordingly not a guarantee of participation; the organisers reserve the right to select and invite the hosted buyers to access.

Within the framework of access 2012, fam trips (familiarisation trips) to selected Austrian destinations are offered. These fam trips include site inspections in hotels, congress centres, event locations and visitor attractions. Qualified hosted buyers will be personally invited to take part in the pre- and post-access 2012 fam trips.
