At their creatively designed booths, more than 200 exhibitors representing all areas relevant to the convention and congress industry provided a comprehensive overview of the industry. 1,700 national and international trade-show visitors and international hosted buyers had the opportunity of exploring the wide range of attractive products and services offered by the Austrian congress, convention and event industry. During presentations given at the access academy, participants discussed how associations and the convention and congress industry in general can prepare for these new challenges or how they are already handling them. The specialised programme at the top-notch academy revolved around the theme of “manage and communicate change”. The “Aula der Wissenschaften” (Hall of Sciences) was a perfect location to celebrate access night, which included a festive gala dinner and an exciting party. Entertainment was available on several levels, providing plenty of opportunities to have a good conversation or to just enjoy the party.
